  • Scott Freeman, P.Eng, LEED AP BD+C

    PRINCIPAL

    Scott joined RMA Engineering in 2012, bringing experience from a major HVAC manufacturer and expertise in industry trends across North America. A licensed engineer in multiple provinces, he delivers high-quality custom engineered designs and clear communication throughout every project.

    As RMA’s sustainability expert with LEED AP BD+C accreditation, Scott has led key projects, including LEED Gold-certified schools, fire halls in Alberta, and the Shepard Fleet Services Maintenance Building. Known for his knowledge, flexibility, and fairness, Scott is a trusted partner to clients, architects, and operations teams.

  • Kevin Sunohara, P.Eng.

    SENIOR MECHANICAL ASSOCIATE

    The Senior Mechanical Associate who oversees our inhouse production and design, Kevin joined Rae McLean after spending 10+ years with a large Canadian competitor where he led designs for buildings across Canada and the USA, including Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Seattle, and California.

    He has the reputation in the consulting community of having an excellent grasp of the mechanical and electrical design concepts and strives to ensure that the entire consulting team designs projects that are buildable and co-ordinated.

    Kevin always wants finished projects to function properly without compromising the ongoing maintenance of the building mechanical systems.

  • Muzamil Pervez, P.Eng.

    SENIOR ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATE

    ‍An electrical engineer with 15+ years design experience in electrical building systems across Alberta and Canada. His role includes planning power distribution, lighting, and communication systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes, collaborating with other professionals, and optimizing energy efficiency while providing a reliable electrical infrastructure for the complex.‍ ‍

    Muzamil has designed projects across Canada as a professional Engineer (in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, and Manitoba) is recognized for his thorough understanding of building engineering and his intent on finding the most efficient solution for each project. Muzamil cherishes the challenges each project presents and ensures the best design is achieved for all projects.
